The Washington Association of Colleges for Teacher Education provides leadership on issues related to professional education, with primary focus on teacher education. WACTE promotes effective public policy regarding professional education, enhances and improves professional education programs at member institutions, and enhances the professional effectiveness of members.
 

Don't Forget: Winter Meeting!  

WACTE's winter meeting is to be held at Pacific Lutheran University Jan 25-26, 2017. Tentative Agenda: Legislative breakfast reception, stakeholder meetings (Deans/Directors, Data Administrators, Field Experience Directors, Certification Officers), business meeting, updates (Legislative, PESB, SBCTC, other), panel and sharing re teacher recruitment and retention strategies.
