AACTE Washington Week
Washington Association of Colleges for Teacher Education
The Mission of the Washington Association of Colleges for Teacher Education is to provide leadership on issues related to professional education, with primary focus on teacher education.
This Mission is pursued through activities which:
- promote equity, diversity, and inclusion within the professional education community;
- promote effective public policy regarding professional education;
- enhance and improve professional education programs at member institutions; and
- enhance the professional effectiveness of members.
State Board of Education Updating Graduation Requirements
The FutureReady initiative is a State Board of Education (SBE) project to update Washington's high schoool graduation requirements. The boards have requested additional updates as the initiative moves forward. PESB staff plan to provide these updates at a future board meeting.
AACTE Washington Week

Call for Manuscripts
Pennsylvania Teacher Educator is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing scholarship, research, and best practices in educator preparation and teacher education. They have recently expanded their scope and now welcome submissions from scholars and educators across the United States and beyond.
